Joanna’s Place holds events throughout the year to raise funds.

Motorcycle Run

A terrific annual event for the entire family that’s held every summer.  Join hundreds of motorcycles to complete a designated 40-mile route through several South Shore towns.  At the end of the run, participants, families, and friends enjoy lunch together and have a great time vying for raffle prizes and bidding on wonderful silent auction items.  This year's run takes place Saturday, July 16th at the Weymouth Elks.

Comedy Night

Every fall, there’s an evening of laughter and fun. September of 2010’s headliners included Lenny Clarke, Christine Hurley, Artie Januario, Graig Murphy, Bob Niles, Steve Sweeney, Johnny Pizzi, Mark Riley, and Tony V.  All comedians donate their time, so that 100% of tickets sales go to support Joanna’s Place.
