Together we can make a difference

Participate in Matching Gifts Program at your work

Ask your employer if they have a Matching Gifts Program or if they will match your generous donation to Joanna’s Place.

Other ways to give

Make a commemorative gift in a loved one’s name or to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or wedding gift. Joanna’s Place will send a thank you letter to the honoree acknowledging your kind gift.

Donate a prize item to be raffled or auctioned off at one of our upcoming events. Timeshares, sports/concert tickets, gift cards, and autographed memorabilia are just some examples of popular bidding items at fundraisers.

Help create awareness of Joanna’s Place by wearing one of our t-shirts. Children and adult sizes are both available at $15 each.

Where your dollars go

$100 – Provides pizza for all families and volunteers for one Circle night.

$225 – Provides a Circle facilitator for one Circle evening.

$900 – Provides all arts and crafts materials for Circle support groups for a year.

$2,800 – Gives twenty Talking Points consultations

$5,500 – Covers all expenses for one Circle for a year.

Volunteer Opportunities

Become a Circle Group Facilitator

We’re accepting CORI-checked volunteers to facilitate our Circle groups. We train our volunteers — this is an excellent opportunity for people training to be human services professionals.

We require a commitment of 10 weeks and all volunteers must be CORI-checked. Contact us to volunteer.

Be a Host for a Joanna's Place Informational Hour

Host a coffee hour, book club or a social group discussion about our mission and how others can help. Maria Trozzi, national expert and respected author, and Program Director for Joanna’s Place, would be happy to join your event to talk with your guests and answer any questions about the organization’s background, and how it promotes resilience among children.

Organize a fundraising event

Organize a fundraising event with the help of your social circle to help raise critically needed funds for children and family support groups. Joanna’s Place would be happy to help you get started.
