Maria Trozzi, Program Director

Our program director, Maria Trozzi, is a nationally recognized speaker for professional and parent audiences when major crises challenge the people of our nation (Columbine, 9/11, Katrina, Marathon Bombing). Former Assistant Professor of Developmental Pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine, Founder of the nationally-renowned Good Grief Program, author of Talking with Children About Loss ,and former faculty for T. Berry Brazelton’s National Lecture series, she is a frequent contributor to both national print and electronic media.  For nearly 20 years, she has been teaching educators and health professionals how to promote resilience in the face of loss by strengthening the coping skills of families, institutions, and communities.
